The Society of Petroleum Engineers – Gulf Coast Section, through its Members in Transition Committee,
invites you to participate in our latest “Energy Professionals FREE Virtual Hiring Event.” Continuing the
success of our bi-annual event, on April7, 2021, we continue to provide a platform to connect experienced job
seekers with companies in the energy sector and beyond. The energy industry provides one of the most
diverse cross sections of talent that is poised to deliver results for all industries looking for top talent.
Being a collaboration organization for our flagship Hiring Event presents an ideal opportunity to promote your
organization, its affiliates, and members, while supporting each other’s members in transition land their next

How it Works
By agreeing to be a Collaborating Organization you agree to share the SPE-GCS Spring Hiring Event on your
website and social media. In exchange the SPE-GCS Spring Hiring event will list your organization as a
Collaborating Organization on our website and through social media. In addition, your membership will be
allowed to participate in the Hiring Event. Adding a diverse listing of Collaborating Organizations will attract
additional prospective employers, allowing greater exposure of your organization, and supporting your

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is an international volunteer nonprofit organization that has many
sections all over the world. The Houston-area section, named the Gulf Coast Section, takes pride in being one
of the largest and most active of the SPE sections. The SPE Gulf Coast Section (SPE-GCS) was established
on December 13, 1935.
The Mission of the Gulf Coast Section shall be the promotion of mutual cooperation in furthering the objectives
of the Society of Petroleum Engineers International, Inc. All funding is directed towards the award and support
of local scholarships for high school seniors entering STEM programs at colleges and universities.
