ABSTRACT:

Every oilfield comes through an onset of declining productivity, often too early before maturity. Even the best asset management techniques and advanced production logging do not warrant predictable results - unless extra information can be extracted from beyond the well bore. Acoustic and thermal technologies have seen rapid development in the past decade and achieved remarkable progress in petrophysical analysis of explored reservoirs. This presentation will give you an insight into current state of through-barrier diagnostics and how it can save an aging oil field.
